The AC Hotel Seattle Downtown is a newly opened, modern & stylish hotel located on the border of Downtown Seattle and South Lake Union. We pride ourselves on delivering a unique, minimalist, and welcoming atmosphere, as well as exceptional guest service. We are looking for two dedicated, dependable, and friendly hotel receptionists to join our dynamic team and AC Family.
As a Hotel Receptionist at AC Hotel Seattle Downtown, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their stay. You will play a key role in maintaining the high standards of guest service our brand is known for. Your primary responsibilities will include checking in and out guests, managing reservations, answering guest inquiries, and ensuring a smooth and efficient operation of the front desk. This can be a fast-paced, customer-focused role that requires excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests in a warm and professional manner.
- Check-in and check-out guests with accuracy and efficiency.
- Handle guest requests, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide guests with information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
- Manage room reservations, both over the phone and through the property management system.
- Maintain accurate guest records and ensure all billing is correct.
- Handle phone inquiries and assist with booking reservations.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure the guest experience is seamless.
- Uphold AC Hotel's commitment to excellent customer service and hospitality.
Qualifications:
- Previous hotel front desk or customer service experience is required.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer systems, including Microsoft Office and hotel management software (FOSSE experience a plus!)
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Positive attitude and a genuine passion for providing exceptional customer service.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends, and holidays.
- Bilingual candidates are a plus.
