SUMMARY
AC Miller Concrete Products, a family-owned business, is seeking a motivated Inside Sales Representative to learn and grow with our Company! We offer our employees competitive pay, and benefits.
Our Inside Sales Representative sells corporate products to utility companies, businesses and industrial establishments or individuals over the telephone or in person.
Responsibilities:
- Become proficient with and responsible for quoting, order processing and follow-through of the following:
- Adjustable form vaults
- Pump stations
- Trench
- Custom slabs
- Pre-piped Pits
- Makes outbound follow-up calls by telephone and/or e-mail to qualified leads in order to sell products and services
- Handles inbound sales lead calls to convert calls into sales and overflow on custom fixed vaults
- Overcomes technical and business objections of prospective customers
- Provides product information to qualified customers, utility companies and engineers on request
- Develops and maintains an up-to-date working knowledge of both corporate and facility specific product lines; manufacturing capabilities and procedures; utility company standards; distribution capabilities; estimating policy; pricing policy; and other policies and procedures
- Reads and interprets contract drawings and specifications
- Prepares take offs and price estimates for products meeting the requirements of contract drawings and specifications
- Emphasizes salable features, quotes prices and credit terms, and processes sales orders for orders obtained
- Tracks all quotes and/or contacts successful bidders of projects where our products and services can be applied until all material has been officially purchased
- Makes every effort to promote the use of A.C. Miller Concrete’s products and services in lieu of all other alternates
- Processes all necessary documents for order processing, engineering, customer service, production and transportation
- Tracks stock levels
- Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on customer needs and knowledge of own firm's production and delivery schedules
- Prepares reports of business transactions in accordance with corporate procedures
- Works with Sales Manager and Outside Sales Representatives to keep account activities and literature up-to-date.
- Builds and maintains customer relationships.
- Prepare and send sales order acknowledgements to customers
- Assist Customer Service Department as needed
- Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database
- Knowledge of all products and function as back-up for Sales Team

- Ability to travel to off-site meetings and job sites as needed
- Working knowledge and understanding of MS Office, Adobe and Made 2 Manage Software
- At least 5 years’ Sales Experience: degree or certification preferred, not required
