Program Overview: Provides housing and community development assistance to make sure everyone has access to fair and equal housing.
Key Responsibilities:
- The Program Supervisor serves as a leader in the organization and provides important input and guidance on programmatic development and healthy operations.
- Provides direction, management, supervision and coordination of the overall operations of the PATH, Evolutions/Supportive Youth Housing, Lilly Mae Apartment and Housing and Urban Development (HUD) program.
- The Program Supervisor will play an active role in motivating, empowering and professionally developing housing staff while maintaining a team-oriented atmosphere.
- Provide administrative oversight, voucher and housing tracking systems, supervision and support to staff.
- Maintain consistent communication with director around staff functioning and service delivery;
- Coordinate data collection, reporting and review the completion of all documentation, including assessments;
- Be available for on-call emergency needs for LillyMae.
- Review referral acceptance and intake processes, oversee lease agreements and adhere to updating as needed yearly, oversee housing stability concerns are addressed by teams and maintaining housing status is prioritized.
- Attend COC, CEAS, HUD, DCF and other state/local meetings
- Maintain collaborative relationships with landlords, HUD, DCA, DCPP, local homeless shelter provides, Social Services, COC, and additional community providers.
- Complete yearly contractual renewals and adhere to required HUD/COC/DCF State inspections, recertifications, audits, etc.
- Complete supervision with staff and evaluates/interview/hire Candidates for empty positions.
- Provide Program coverage as needed.
- Assure proper utilization of equipment/resources;
- Facilitate a productive decision-making process around consumer needs and housing stabilization
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work or a related field
- 2 years of experience of relevant experience
- Knowledge and/or experience in trauma-informed care, mental health and substance abuse.
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license, use of an insured vehicle and an acceptable driving record.
Additional Information:
- Hourly Rate: Starting rate of $19.23
Bilingual Rate: An additional $1.50/hourly rate added to the base pay if Spanish proficient.
