Under the supervision of the Head Chef, the Kitchen Aide performs general cooking duties and assist with all paperwork for the Senior Center to ensure nutritional compliance. The pay rate is $18.00 / hr.
KEY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
Ensures the Kitchen is clean and clutter free.
- Assists with meal preparation.
- Responsible for checking food temperature with head chef.
- Operate the dishwashing machine.
- Load rack, wash and air dry dishes, and store them in a clean, sanitary and orderly manner.
- Wash pots and pans. Stores them in a clean, sanitary and orderly manner.
- Clean and maintain dishwashing machine, dish racks, dish storage area, walls and floors.
- Responsible for seeing that the wash temperature is at least 140 degrees and rinse temperature is 180 degrees.
- EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :
High school diploma / GED required.
