The Regional Director for Western New York is a dynamic role focused on driving business expansion, cultivating strategic relationships, and securing sustainable funding for organizational growth across Western New York. Under the umbrella of Acacia Network and headquartered in Hispanos Unidos de Buffalo (HUB), the Regional Director will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of HUB and its programs, while working closely together with its sister organization Alba de Vida (Promesa, Inc.) and other affiliates, as well as fostering collaborative partnerships to enhance Acacia Network’s presence in the region. This role requires a visionary leader with a proven track record in strategic planning, business development, and stakeholder engagement who will ensure the delivery of high-quality, culturally responsive services while identifying opportunities for growth and innovation to meet the evolving needs of underserved communities in Western New York. KEY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Provide strategic leadership to guide the overall direction and growth of Hispanos Unidos de Buffalo (HUB)’s programs and initiatives in Western New York, driven by the vision, mission, and strategic direction of Acacia Network.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of HUB, ensuring high-quality, culturally responsive service delivery across programs, including integrated care, behavioral health, and social services.
  • Collaborate closely with Alba de Vida (Promesa, Inc.) to align efforts and expand service capacity across the region.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase organizational visibility, strengthen community relationships, and enhance HUB and Acacia Network’s regional presence.
  • Identify and pursue new funding opportunities, including grants, philanthropic partnerships, and government contracts, to sustain and grow programs.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with funders, government agencies, community leaders, and other key stakeholders to advance the mission of HUB and Acacia Network.
  • Represent Acacia Network and HUB in community forums, coalitions, and advocacy efforts to promote the organization’s work and priorities.
  • Lead the development and management of budgets, ensuring fiscal accountability and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Monitor program performance, ensuring compliance with funding requirements, regulatory standards, and internal benchmarks.
  • Recruit, mentor, and manage a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
  • Drive the integration of evidence-based practices and innovative approaches to address the evolving needs of underserved populations.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures.
  • Act as a liaison between regional operations and Acacia Network’s executive leadership, providing regular updates on progress, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Other duties as assigned.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Master’s degree in business administration, Nonprofit Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in strategic leadership, business development, or nonprofit growth initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success in cultivating relationships with board members, stakeholders, and funding partners.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive informed decision-making.
  • Passion for the organization’s mission and commitment to making a measurable impact.
