POSITION OVERVIEW
The coordinator will be responsible for the planning and implementation of all the boys and girls youth activities such as; workshops, community service events, trips, cooking club and LGBTQ focus group.
KEY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Responsible for the planning of age appropriate activities / topics for the girls’ club.
- Plan age appropriate civic engagement activities for the Youth Council.
- Responsible for the planning and implementation of the LGBTQ focus group.
- Responsible for supervising and planning the cooking club activities.
- Promote a respectful behavior among our youth and other members of the program.
- Demonstrate ability to motivate and lead our youth in a positive way.
- Supervise all youth activities.
- Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum educational requirements for this position, College Student preferred, HS and GED accepted and at least 2 years of recreational experience.
