Job Summary

Risepoint is seeking a strategic and results-driven leader to oversee Nursing Education, with a primary focus on pre-licensure programs. This senior leadership role will be instrumental in scaling our pre-licensure offering including healthcare employer partnerships for placement and upskilling. This leadership role will build our partnership strategy to be the best-in-class online nursing education partner. Included in the strategy will be partnerships with new and existing universities as well as hospital systems / employers for a wholistic nursing education experience. This role requires strong leadership in nursing education management, business development, and partnerships with healthcare systems, academic institutions, and employers. It also demands an ability to scale innovative solutions within the education and workforce sectors.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Leadership and Strategy

  • Develop and implement the pre-licensure growth plan establishing Risepoint as a reliable partner serving universities, hospital systems and nursing needs.
  • Determine success metrics and regularly measure the impact of new and existing pre-licensure nursing programs, ensuring they are high-quality, scalable, and aligned with the growing demand for skilled nurses.
  • Drive the launch and scaling of hospital and medical partner growth, positioning nursing programs as the key offering in the marketplace while supporting the expansion of programs to provide a full range of talent solutions for employers.
  • Stay connected with nursing license requirements and workforce needs to advise Risepoint, university partners and hospital partners to changing needs in nursing education. Serve as subject matter expert for pre-licensure to evolve and expand to address workforce gaps in healthcare.

Business Development and Partnerships

  • Research and identify potential university and hospital partnerships that align with our pre-licensure business goals. Analyze market trends to identify opportunities for growth and needs of nurses, universities and hospitals.
  • Lead business development efforts to establish partnerships with local hospitals, healthcare systems, and employers to create robust clinical placements and workforce opportunities for prelicensure nursing students. Monitor and report on the performance of business development activities for transparency and feedback / adjustments to business development efforts.
  • Cultivate long-term relationships with employers and healthcare systems to secure placements and employment pathways for nursing students. offering employers a comprehensive set of talent solutions for their workforce needs.
  • Oversee the entire sales process from initial contact to contract signings. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth and efficient sales cycle and handoff to partnership management.
  • Represent nursing education programs at local events to raise awareness of partnerships and promote the programs to students, faculty and employers.
  • Pre-Licensure Program Development and Expansion 3

  • Partner with internal and external teams to support the development, expansion, and quality of pre-licensure nursing programs to meet the demand for a skilled nursing workforce. Ensure programs are scalable and meet market needs. Establish key metrics to evaluate program performance, expansion and impact.
  • Work closely with academic partners to ensure pre-licensure nursing programs are of the highest quality, adhering to regulatory and accreditation standards (e.g., CCNE, ACEN). Analyze trends in the market to identify opportunities for growth and adjustment.
  • Partner with internal and external teams to ensure alignment and support for program initiatives. Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, honest conversations and continuous improvement to drive success.
  • Full ownership of pre-licensure, coordinating across the organization to support university partners as product experts, monitor the enrollment funnel, product, marketing positioning among others.
  • Work with operational teams to ensure the efficient delivery of nursing programs, focusing on streamlining processes for clinical placements, curriculum delivery, and student services.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the student and employer experience in the delivery of nursing programs.
  • Qualifications Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

  • Strong strategic leadership skills with the ability to manage and influence teams outside of span of control. Expertise in business development and partnership management, particularly with employers, healthcare systems, and educational institutions.
  • Knowledge of nursing curriculum design, clinical education, and best practices in workforce readiness.
  • Excellent communication, influence, negotiation, and relationshipbuilding skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to lead complex projects and manage cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals.
  • Proven experience in building new programs for successful launch / implementation that are on-time and high quality
