School Psychologist (Hybrid)
Type: Contract (1099)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled School Psychologist to provide hybrid school psychological services to students, including assessment, counseling, and consultation. This position is ideal for a professional who is experienced in school psychology and is comfortable working independently within a school environment and remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments, including cognitive, academic, and behavioral evaluations.
- Provide individual and group counseling to students addressing various emotional and behavioral issues.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school administrators to develop and implement strategies to support student success.
- Develop and review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with other educational professionals.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of all assessments, interventions, and communications.
- Stay current with best practices and developments in school psychology.
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- Valid and active license as a School Psychologist in Illinois.
- Preferred minimum of 2 years of experience working as a School Psychologist, preferably in an educational setting.
- Strong understanding of psychoeducational assessments, IEPs, and behavior management strategies.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a school environment.
- Ability to manage time effectively and work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with crisis intervention and behavior management in a school setting.
- Familiarity with various educational software tools.
