Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to join our team! As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with a supervising SLP to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each client. You will also have the chance to work with a variety of clients and students, including those with diverse backgrounds and needs.
Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing treatment plans that address client goals and objectives.
- Delivering speech and language therapy interventions to clients, including improving speech sounds, language skills, fluency, voice quality, and other communication abilities.
- Maintaining accurate and organized records of client progress, treatment sessions, and other relevant information.
- Communicating regularly with the supervising SLP and collaborating with other professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to client care.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- An SLPA State License.
- At least 6 months of experience in a school-based setting.
