Roanoke City Public Schools is seeking a part-time EL (English Language) Assessment Specialist.
The EL Assessment Specialist will:
- Help to facilitate English language proficiency (ELP) assessments for EL students
- Conduct initial ELP screenings and WIDA ACCESS testing
- Serve all schools K-12 throughout the division
- Assist schools with preparation for ELP assessments
- Work with individual students or small groups to develop English proficiency in targeted areas
The position would work no more than a maximum of 29 hours per week.
Salary : $30 - $35
