We are seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our dedicated team! In this role, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing, planning, developing, and monitoring behavioral support services for clients diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). As the Lead BCBA, you will guide and mentor a team of skilled BCBAs, ensuring the highest quality of clinical care while fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
This position requires flexibility, and responsibilities may evolve based on organizational needs and client requirements.
- Team Leadership & Supervision: Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of BCBAs, providing session feedback, training, and modeling when needed.
- Clinical Caseload: Maintain a semi-reduced clinical caseload with direct assessment and treatment for clients in the center (Caseload size will be determined based on center needs).
- Treatment Implementation: Oversee the delivery of treatment plans according to client needs, ensuring high-quality care and adherence to ABA principles.
- Training & Mentorship: Provide ongoing support to Clinical Supervisors, assist with shadowing and training for incoming technicians, and conduct competency assessments for RBTs and BCBAs.
- Parent & Family Support: Conduct parent training, facilitate team meetings, and maintain a positive, professional relationship with client families.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other professionals to ensure optimal client progress and outcomes.
- Crisis Management & De-escalation: Support staff in crisis management and client de-escalation as needed.
- Clinic Operations: Assist with the management of clinic materials, opening and closing procedures, and maintain organizational efficiency.
- Adherence to Regulations: Ensure compliance with all BACB guidelines, ethics, and regulations, as well as Academy ABA policies.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years as a BCBA.
- Certification: Must maintain good standing with the BACB, complete CEU requirements, and stay current with certification renewals.
- Clinical Expertise: Experience providing applied behavior analysis to children, especially those with Autism Spectrum Disorders, is preferred.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to synthesize clinical data and determine effective treatment plans.
- Technical Skills: Central Reach experience is a plus but not required.
