Location: EAC (Education and Administration Center) Recruiting Start Date: 01/24/2025 Estimated Start Date: 07/01/2025 The Director for Digital Innovation Services is responsible for leading the strategic planning, development, and implementation of digital innovation initiatives across the K-12 school district. This role focuses on enhancing teaching and learning experiences through the integration of current technology, fostering a culture of innovation, and ensuring equitable access to digital resources for all students and staff. A key aspect of this role is leveraging emerging technologies including Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance educational outcomes and operational efficiencies. external organizations, technology vendors, and community stakeholders to support the district's digital innovation initiatives Collaborates with district leadership to identify and prioritize technology initiatives that support student achievement and professional learning Collaborates with the Information Technology department and other district departments to align technology efforts with district-wide goals Collaborates with the IT and Legal departments to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and district policies related to technology use, digital accessibility, and student data privacy Conducts research and pilots’ new technologies and instructional approaches to evaluate their effectiveness and scalability Coordinates with building-level leaders to ensure students’ and staff digital learning and teaching needs are met at each site Designs and delivers professional learning programs to build the capacity of educators and staff in using digital tools, AI applications, and innovative teaching methods Develops and executes a comprehensive digital innovation strategy aligned with the district's educational goals and objectives Develops and implements strategies to bridge the digital divide and promote digital literacy Develops and manages the budget for digital innovation initiatives Ensures equitable access to digital resources and technology for
