Job Summary

Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Teach subjects such as Organic Chemistry, Microbiology, and other relevant sciences.
- Conduct classroom activities that promote critical thinking and hands-on learning, including dissections and laboratory experiments.
- Provide individualized support through tutoring and mentoring to enhance student understanding of complex concepts.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively using behavior management techniques to maintain a conducive learning environment.
- Offer academic advising to students, guiding them in course selection and career pathways.
- Collaborate with special education staff to accommodate diverse learning needs within the classroom.
- Conduct research to stay updated on educational best practices and integrate findings into teaching methods.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; teaching certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of subject matter, particularly in Organic Chemistry and Microbiology.
- Experience in classroom management and behavior management strategies.
- Ability to provide effective mentoring and tutoring support for students.
- Familiarity with special education practices is a plus.
