What are the responsibilities and job description for the Computer Science Teacher position at Academy for Advanced Studies?
Responsible for imparting knowledge and skills to high school students. The candidate will teach, organize, and implement lessons for an environment focused on Computer Science.
This position reports to the principal.
· Works collaboratively with College/High School teachers to vertical align curriculum and best practices, where applicable.
· Effectively manages the learning environment, so that it is conducive to learning.
· Effectively communicates with students, parents, and other stakeholders via verbal and written communication.
· Performs other duties as assigned by principal, immediate supervisor, and district-level administration.
Education : Two year degree required.
Work Experience : Industry experience preferred but not required.
