Description
We are an NPA headquartered in West Hills CA, with other satellite locations. We are looking for para-professionals who have a heart for helping kids who are faced with a wide variety of developmental challenges. The right candidate would provide Adaptive Skills Intervention in home and in the community for students ranging from ages 5-Adult. Adaptive Skills includes, but is not limited to the following areas:
Self-care, communication skills, social skills, leisure skills, home, school and community living, functional academics, Community use, work, health and safety.

Requirements
Ability to pass background/live scan check, TB test and health screening
• A valid California Driver’s License
• Possess a reliable form of transportation with up-to-date insurance and registration
• Preferred AA degree in Child Development, child psychology, special education or related field.
• Ability to work independently with maturity and sound decision-making
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality and have excellent communication skills
• Comfortable working with families and professionals in clients home and community
• Ability to complete paperwork in a timely fashion
• CPR a plus
• Bilingual a plus
