Growing non-public school in Lancaster, CA is seeking a fulltime Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to work with students facing a wide variety of developmental challenges. The BCBA is responsible for developing and implementing behavior intervention plans and strategies to support the students. Responsibilities:
- Provide supervision and support to paraprofessionals and RBTs.
- Participate in students' IEPs, develop goals and individualized behavior intervention plans.
- Develop individualized treatment plans for students.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care for students.
- Conduct ongoing evaluations of student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and documentation.
Requirements:
- Current valid BCBA certification
- Master's degree in Applied Behavioral Analysis
- 2 years of experience in a clinical setting
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- TB Screening and DOJ Livescan
Preferences:
- Experience working with diverse populations and a range of mental health concerns
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish rapport with students
- Proficiency in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting behavioral data to inform intervention decisions.
- A deep understanding of and empathy for the challenges faced by students with special needs and their families.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive support for students.
- Adherence to professional and ethical standards in behavior analysis and education.
Requirements
Must have a clear TB and be able to pass a DOJ/FBI clearance.
