We serve students k-12 who are faced with a wide variety of developmental challenges; predominantly Autism. We are dedicated to assisting our students in becoming academically and socially successful by meeting them where they are. We work collaboratively with a team of educators and clinicians to create individual programs for each student. If you are an SLP with a heart for assisting students who experience the world in a unique way, then you may be the right person to fill our vacancy. We offer a competitive salary with paid medical, dental and vision insurance. We also offer $750.00 allowance for CEU's. AACA is careful to comply with all LADPHS guidelines for covid19 so that we may keep all staff and students safe. We would consider either full time or part time for this position.
Requirements
The right candidate for this job will have a valid california SLP license, the ability to supervise an SLPA or CFY if necessary, and a big heart. It would be helpful to have at least a working knowledge of applied behavior analysis. Some of our students have no vocal abilty; communicating instead with a talking device. An understanding of how to work with students who communicate via devices is helpful. The ability to be consistent, reliable, professional, organized, and timely are very important. We would require a current TB test, a DOJ clearance, and at least 3 professional letters of reference There would be an additional $1500 signing bonus for an SLP who is also AT/AAC certified.
Salary : $65,000 - $100,000
