SUMMARY:
Career Coaching Provider
- Coaches will be trained on various WorkAdvance specific procedures, but will also bring organizational competencies related career coaching ? identify and address personal and professional barriers, support the participants retention in preemployment training and assist with job placement and longer-term job retention and career advancement
- Career coaching for participants will include goal setting, career mapping, confidence building, motivation and specific skill development as needed
- Coaches will work with support service providers and other community resources as needed to address personal or professional barriers.
- Career coach will communicate with employers regularly ? to ensure individual level success and to understand organizational needs related to organizational development
- Career Coach will document and notify WA Project Manager of all communication with managers, supervisors or team leads and employer partners

Interaction with Participants?
- Career coaching sessions will be a mix of in person and virtual
- Career coaches will begin working with participants during preemployment training:?
- Welcome and explanation of services on Day 1?
- In a group setting, lead the goal setting and career mapping process??
- Finalize the career map during individual coaching
- At least once weekly check-in during preemployment training
- For working participants, provide retention and advancement support:
- At least once during the first week,
- At least every other week through 90-days, and then
- At least monthly through 365-days on the job
- Respond to participant needs as quickly as possible and, in any case, not more than 24 hours following request for services

- 4-6 hours of group instructions related to goal setting and career mapping?
- Review resume and customize the final version meet the requirements of specific manufacturing employers
- Weekly 1:1 check-in with each participant during preemployment training?
- Continued career coaching support for one-year post-employment
? Tracking Inputs & Results?
- Documentation of each participant interaction and employment verification
- Document continued employment at the 30, 90, 180 and 365-day points?
- Enter data into an internal system for case management
- Program reporting as needed for grant purposes?
