What are the responsibilities and job description for the Special Education Team Leader (ETL) position at Academy of Early Learning?
Greenfield Public Schools is seeking a special education professional to work with a team of professionals managing the IEP team process for students. This is a district-wide position and will have a caseload comprised of students from one or more schools. The assignment will likely include early childhood and early elementary grades.
DUTIES: Following the IEP/Team process, manage a caseload of students with IEPs through duties that include but are not limited to the following:
- Coordination of initial special education eligibility process and meetings
- Manage an IEP caseload and schedule and facilitate IEP Team meetings in compliance with regulations
- Compile input from the team to create professional, timely, and accurate IEPs using district practices and procedures and connected to early childhood outcomes
- Conduct educational/developmental evaluations on referred students when needed
- Facilitate positive relationships with culturally sensitive approaches with students and families and work collaboratively with educators, special education administrators, and school administrators
