Key Responsibilities
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the school principal, teachers, and other staff members. This includes managing schedules, organizing meetings, and preparing documents.
- Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for parents, students, and visitors. Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and manage correspondence.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records, attendance logs, and other essential documents.
- Office Management: Ensure the school office runs smoothly by managing supplies, handling mail, and performing other clerical duties.
- Event Coordination: Assist in organizing school events, such as parent-teacher conferences, assemblies, and extracurricular activities.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate Degree in administration or related field; additional training or certification in office administration preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in an educational setting.
- Skills: Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
