Job Description

We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and innovative K-8th Grade School Teacher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to nurturing students' academic and personal growth through engaging and effective lesson plans.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill the requirements of the school's curriculum program.
• Prepare lessons that reflect accommodations for differences in student learning styles.
• Present subject matter according to guidelines established by state and school board policies.
• Plan and use appropriate instructional and learning strategies, activities, materials, and technology that reflect an understanding of the needs of students assigned.
• Conduct assessments of student learning styles and use results to plan instructional activities.
• Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate for the physical, social, and emotional development of students.
• Establish and maintain open communication with parents, students, and fellow staff members.
• Manage student behavior in accordance with the Student Code of Conduct and student handbook.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education or related field.
• Valid teaching certification for the state.
• Proven experience in teaching K-8th grade students.
• Strong knowledge of child development and current educational trends.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their full potential.
• Proficiency in using technology in the classroom to enhance learning.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $38,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
