Coach/Teacher

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher/Coach to join our team. This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about sports and education, and who have a strong desire to inspire and mentor students. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching and spotting gymnasts of all ages, promoting physical fitness, and fostering a positive learning environment. Experience in coaching and working with students is essential.

Duties

• Coach students in physical activities, ensuring they understand techniques, rules, and strategies of the sport.
• Organize and supervise practice sessions, competitions, and events to enhance student skills and teamwork.
• Foster a safe and supportive environment by enforcing safety protocols during all activities.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement.
• Collaborate with other educators to integrate physical education into the overall curriculum.
• Maintain communication with parents regarding student performance and development.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in sports coaching or teaching is highly desirable.
• Skills in specific sports such as Gymnastics, cheerleading, and dance are preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with students of varying ages and backgrounds.
• Experience working with students in an educational or recreational setting is beneficial.
• A passion for health and fitness, along with a commitment to promoting an active lifestyle among students.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also demonstrating leadership qualities.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 30 per week
