Enrollment and Admissions Support Specialist (Hourly)
The Enrollment and Admissions Support Specialist provides flexible and responsive support to the Enrollment, Admissions, and Retention Engagement team at the Academy of Hope Adult Public Charter School (AoH). This hourly position assists with a variety of administrative, operational, and engagement tasks, including learner registration, data entry, outreach communications, event setup, and general enrollment support. This role is hourly and designed to meet the evolving needs of the department during peak enrollment periods and special initiatives.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred.
- Experience in administrative support, customer service, or data entry, preferably in an educational or nonprofit setting.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and data entry systems; experience with student information systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish or another language commonly spoken by AoH learners.
- Experience working with adult learners or in an enrollment/admissions setting.
- Familiarity with AoH’s mission and commitment to adult education.
