Summary/Objective:
The Inventory Associate will play a key role in ensuring efficient inventory management and seamless fulfillment of web orders at the Academy Museum Store. In addition to pick, pack, and ship responsibilities, this position will focus on maintaining accurate inventory records, receiving and processing products, and contributing to the organization of the warehouse. The Inventory Associate will collaborate closely with the Academy Campus team to uphold quality standards and operational excellence.

Essential Functions of the Job:
Web Fulfillment
- Fulfill customer orders in a timely manner, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Prepare and ship customer orders following established packing and shipping protocols.
- Manage shipments for orders involving backordered and pre-sale items.
Inventory Management
- Perform regular cycle counts and inventory counts to ensure accuracy. Assist in yearly inventory counts at the Academy Museum Store and Warehouse.
- Receive and process incoming products, verifying shipments against packing lists.
- Conduct quality checks on merchandise and report damages or discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements using inventory management systems.
- Label products accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with markdowns and damage procedures.
Warehouse Organization
- Assist in organizing the warehouse to maintain a clean and efficient workspace.
- Work under the supervision of the Academy Campus team to optimize storage and workflow.
Additional Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager and Retail Management team with special projects and events.
- Provide support in resolving customer service issues related to web orders.
Required Competencies:
- A high school diploma or equivalent certificate of completion.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a warehouse or stock-related role.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to move and transport items weighing up to 50 lbs.

- Comfortable working in a warehouse and stockroom environment.
Work Environment:
- Inside the Warehouse
Travel: The percentage of travel time expected for the position is 2%. 1-2 times a year, the Inventory Associate will need to travel to the Academy Museum Store to assist with Inventory.

Compensation: The expected salary for this role is $20.00 per hour. The actual base pay offered will be determined by factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and other factors permitted by law. Decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis.)
