What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Varsity Girls Lacrosse Coach position at Academy of Saint Elizabeth?
The Academy of Saint Elizabeth is looking for a prospective Assistant Varsity Girls Lacrosse Coach for the 2025 spring season.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Required to be on campus from 2:50 PM until the conclusion of practice and/or for home and away athletic contests, which may occur at night or on weekends.
- Demonstrated experience and competencies for performance responsibilities.
- Required employment background check.
JOB GOAL: To assist in the planning, coordinating, and promoting of a comprehensive lacrosse program that meets the needs and interests of the school community. To provide effective leadership that promotes a positive learning environment and emphasizes the importance of academic achievement, teamwork, and social responsibility while modeling a high level of ethics and professionalism.
COACHING RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Respect his/her commitment to the school and be present at all scheduled practices and competitions.
- Responsible for following the policies and procedures as defined in the coach’s handbook.
- Assist in training prospective student-athletes, instruct lacrosse practices and activities, and maintain accurate equipment and inventory.
- Works effectively with the Head Varsity Lacrosse Coach in carrying out his/her responsibilities throughout the season.
- Demonstrate superior organizational and motivational abilities, as well as the ability to provide clear instructions.
- Collaborate with the coaching staff to provide a positive experience for all student-athletes and foster team bonding.
- Communicate effectively with the Athletic Director and the Head Varsity Coach on all team matters.
