Cashier Team Lead

WORK EXPERIENCE:

At least one year relevant work experience required

EDUCATION:

High school diploma or GED preferred

ATTENDANCE:

SOME DUTIES:

• Monitors associates to ensure they are providing prompt, friendly customer service
• Required to learn and enforce company policies, procedures, and safety rules
• Answers telephone and monitors associate use
• Attends training seminars/webinars as required, conducts training as needed
• Performs price/SKU look-ups
• Monitors and directs departmental housekeeping duties
• Conducts and follows up on price change assignments, ensures proper price maintenance within the department and proper flexing of merchandise
• Learns, directs and monitors merchandising guidelines
• Directs zoning of merchandise and learns, directs and monitors compliance to merchandising guidelines as well as POG sets
• Supervises receiving and unloading of trailers as needed
• Conveys all departmental communication
• Distributes work assignments and directs associates
• Performs training of departmental personnel utilizing all training tools
• Responsible for making sure all pre-printed signs are used as directed in the sign program, and maintains the sign library in an organized manner
• Responsible for making sure ad is properly set by walking ad
• Communicates with Managers and buying office on product issues

Duties may change and associate may be required to perform other duties as assigned.
