Your responsibilities will include cash handling, sales support, and maintaining stock levels while fostering a welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly manner.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including operating the cash register and processing payments.
- Maintain an organized and stocked sales floor, ensuring products are readily available for customers.
- Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer purchases and promote special offers.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries.
- Assist in supervising team activities to ensure operational efficiency and adherence to company policies.
- Utilize basic math skills for accurate cash handling and inventory management.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in cash handling or sales is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with diverse customers.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with a broader customer base.
- Basic math proficiency for handling transactions and stock management.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- A commitment to providing excellent customer service and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
