Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in behavioral health/related Field OR Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with pending Master’s Degree in behavioral health Required. Master’s Degree in behavioral health or related field preferred.
- At least two years clinical experience specifically with chemically dependent / dually diagnosed population preferred.
- Licensed Professional Counselor preferred.
Job duties/Resonsibilities:
- Provides individual and group therapy for patients and documents the process in the patient record.
- Ensures that all necessary documentation regarding patient care, treatment, and incidents is done in clear, concise, and timely manner.
- Develops and presents didactic material to patients.
- Conducts family sessions and documents accordingly in the patient record as needed.
- Provides crisis intervention to patients as needed.
- Plans aftercare for assigned patients
- Evaluates patient’s needs and determines if psychiatric referral is needed.
- Assists in training of new clinical staff and interns.
- Completes mandatory Essential Learning courses.
