You will lead daily kitchen operations, from preparing the space and team for a successful service to ensuring all tasks are completed at the end of the shift. Responsibilities:

Opening & Closing the Kitchen:
- Supervise the setup and breakdown of the kitchen, ensuring all equipment, food, and stations are ready for service or properly cleaned and stored at the end of the day.

Team Leadership & Training:
- Lead, mentor, and train kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to best practices, safety protocols, and maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.

Quality Control & Food Preparation:
- Ensure all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards, working closely with the Executive Chef to maintain consistency and quality throughout the day.

Inventory & Waste Management:
- Oversee inventory management, ensuring proper stock rotation, accurate ordering, and minimizing waste. Track food safety and sanitation compliance.

Health & Safety Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to food safety standards and sanitation protocols, including maintaining ServSafe or Food Handler Certification and ensuring the kitchen meets all health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years in the food and beverage industry, with substantial kitchen experience.
- Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role in a kitchen environment.
- Strong understanding of POS systems, inventory management, and food cost control.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- ServSafe or Food Handler Certification (required or to be obtained per company policy).
