Overview:
Jordan Pond House is looking for an experienced and dedicated Server to join our front-of-house team for the 2025 season. This position requires a minimum of five years of serving experience and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Our ideal candidate will be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, always prioritizing guest satisfaction and adhering to high service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Service Excellence: Provide attentive, friendly, and professional service to guests, ensuring that their dining experience is memorable and exceeds expectations.
Opening & Closing Duties: Complete all opening and closing tasks thoroughly and accurately, ensuring the front-of-house area is ready for service each day and cleaned up properly at the end of each shift.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure efficient and seamless service. Closers will work together to close the front-of-house and leave as a group.
Problem Solving: Quickly resolve any guest complaints or issues, ensuring guest satisfaction by offering solutions and addressing concerns promptly.
Service Standards: Adhere to Forbes-level service standards, ensuring that every guest receives high-quality, professional service.
Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized section throughout the shift, ensuring tables are cleared and prepared for the next set of guests without waiting until the end of the service.
Support Roles: Be willing to take on support roles when necessary, including helping with tasks outside of typical serving duties.
Full Hands In/Out: Always follow the "full hands in, full hands out" protocol, ensuring efficiency and safety when moving between the dining room and kitchen.
No Phones Policy: Stay fully engaged with guests and the team by refraining from using phones during work hours.
