What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cook (Pontotoc Residential) Full-Time 10:30a- 6:30p position at Acadia Pharmaceuticals Inc.?
We are looking for a skilled cook to prepare delicious meals according to menu. You will cook dishes that will delight our patients, with their taste and timely delivery. An excellent cook must be able to follow instructions in cooking and delivering well-prepared meals. They must be deft in moving around the kitchen and apt in multi-tasking. Experience is using various ingredients and cooking techniques is important.

- Cook and prepare food according to approved menus.
- Direct activities of workers who assist in preparing and serving meals.
- Clean and inspect equipment, kitchen appliances and work areas to ensure cleanliness and functional operation.
- Take inventory of supplies and equipment
- Work with Food Service leadership or Dietitian to ensure menus are varied, nutritionally balanced and appetizing.
- Perform and coordinate food production, cleaning maintenance, and inventory control activites.
- Ensure compliance with established policies and procedures, quality standards, cost parameters, and appropriate regulatory requirements.
