JOB SUMMARY : Join our dynamic team as an Emergency Medical Technician and provide essential pre-hospital basic life support care to the sick and injured. You will ensure timely transportation in accordance with local, state, national, and organizational standards of practice.
EQUIPMENT : You will work with a variety of critical equipment including ambulances, stretchers, spinal immobilization tools, radios, medical supplies, and various other medical paraphernalia to ensure the best support for our patients.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Your primary responsibilities will include :
- Conduct thorough examinations of patients to assess their medical condition.
- Provide efficient basic life support care within the guidelines of your certification.
- Ensure the safe transport of patients to medical facilities and assist in transferring care to receiving personnel.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and medical history as required.
- Perform regular equipment inventory and maintenance checks on all medical devices.
- Drive the ambulance safely and efficiently under all conditions, ensuring the wellbeing of passengers.
- Participate in mandatory training and station maintenance duties.
- Support field training for new EMT trainees as needed.
