JOB SUMMARY : We are seeking dedicated individuals to provide effective and timely pre-hospital basic life support care and transportation for the sick and injured. Join our team to make a difference in accordance with all relevant standards of practice.
EQUIPMENT : You will be equipped with an ambulance, stretchers, spinal immobilization equipment, basic airway management devices, intravenous fluid therapy equipment, and other medical supplies to ensure the best patient care.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Your role will include :
- Conducting thorough examinations of patients for signs and symptoms of illness / injury.
- Administering prompt and efficient basic life support care prior to and during transport.
- Safely transporting patients to medical facilities.
- Transferring patient care information efficiently to receiving personnel.
- Documenting all patient conditions and treatments accurately on EMS run reports.
- Maintaining unit inventory and ensuring all equipment is functional and ready for use.
- Driving the ambulance safely under all conditions, while following company driving guidelines.
- Communicating effectively with team members and the medical community, adhering to FCC regulations.
- Completing mandatory trainings and station duties as assigned to support operational efficiency.
- Participating in the development of new EMT personnel through mentorship when qualified.
