JOB SUMMARY : Join our dedicated team as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) where you will provide critical pre-hospital basic life support care and transport services to those in need, adhering to local, state, national, and company standards of practice.
EQUIPMENT : You will work with a variety of essential medical equipment including but not limited to :
- Ambulances, stretchers, and spine boards
- Communication devices and radios
- Basic airway management devices
- Intravenous fluid therapy equipment
- Oxygen bottles and splinting devices
- Patient restraints and traction devices
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : As an EMT, your responsibilities will include :
Conducting thorough patient assessments, recognizing signs and symptoms of illness or injury.Administering prompt basic life support care based on established protocols.Transporting and transferring patients safely and efficiently to medical facilities.Documenting patient information and treatment details accurately.Performing regular checks and maintenance on medical equipment.Operating the ambulance in a safe manner while complying with driving guidelines.Communicating effectively using electronic equipment, in accordance with FCC regulations.Participating in training and meetings to enhance skills and knowledge.Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the ambulance and station.Completing all required reports and logs accurately.Assisting in training new team members as necessary.Fulfilling any other assigned duties to support team operations.WORK ENVIRONMENT : Please be aware that this role may involve exposure to various environments, including but not limited to :

High School Diploma or GED.Certification as an Emergency Medical Technician-Basic.Current CPR certification from an accredited organization.Valid driver's license in accordance with state regulations.Excellent communication skills and ability to document accurately.Familiarity with operational procedures and safety protocols.Able to operate large vehicles effectively in various conditions.INTERPERSONAL REQUIREMENTS : We are looking for individuals who :
