JOB SUMMARY : As an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), you will provide timely and effective pre-hospital basic life support care and transportation for the sick and injured, adhering to established standards of practice.
EQUIPMENT :DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Conduct thorough examinations of patients for signs of illness or injury.
- Administer effective basic life support care within your licensure.
- Assist in the safe and efficient transport of patients to medical facilities.
- Document all aspects of patient care and treatment accurately.
- Maintain and inventory medical equipment for readiness.
- Drive the ambulance following safety protocols in both emergency and non-emergency settings.
- Respond to hazardous conditions and control the patient’s environment as needed.
- Participate in ongoing training and maintain required certifications.
- Support and mentor EMT-Basic students and new employees.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- National and / or State certification as an EMT-Basic.
- Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
- Valid state-issued driver’s license suitable for operating large vehicles.
- Strong communication skills with an ability to document and present information clearly.
- Exhibit professionalism towards patients and colleagues.
- Possess a sense of urgency and commitment to all tasks.
- Uphold ethical and organizational norms in all duties.

You will report to EMT-Intermediate, EMT-Paramedic, Operations Supervisor, Operations Manager, and Vice President of Operations.
