Traveling Paramedic
The Traveling Paramedic plays a vital role in providing timely and efficient medical transportation, as well as pre-hospital advanced, intermediate, and basic life support care, adhering to the guidelines set forth by Acadian protocols and within the framework of their licensure or certification.
This position offers a 120-day assignment for paramedics residing at least 150 miles away from the assigned work area. After completing 90 days, the Traveling Paramedic has the option to either relocate to the region (subject to successful fulfillment of the probationary period) or conclude their assignment with Acadian.
Location : New Orleans, LA
Compensation : $25.00 / hour
Work Schedule : 60 hours / week for 120 days
Benefits : Eligible for health, dental, and vision insurance starting the 1st of the month following 30 days of hire.
Expense Reimbursement :
- 1300 weekly stipend for lodging and meals
- Travel reimbursement provided at the beginning and end of the assignment
