What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ticket Sales Intern position at Acadiana Cane Cutters?
Acadiana Cane Cutters is a summer collegiate baseball team which has been part of the Texas Collegiate League for 14 years.
It is the hope of this organization that college students and recent graduates are equipped with the necessary tools to begin or continue their career in sports. Our goal is for those who participate in our internship program to understand the duties and responsibilities that come with maintaining a sports organization.
The Cane Cutters Organization is looking for a candidate to fill the role of Ticket Sales Intern. This role will play a role in generating revenue for the organization through the avenue of ticket sales.
Requirements are but not limited to the following
- Prospecting and calling prospective fans
- Work with the Sales and Operations Executive on executing group sales and other ticket packages
- Provide excellent customer service
- Communicating with the Sales and Operations Executive on any new sales of groups or any ticket packages
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Strong work ethic
- Able to work in a fast paced and ever changing environment
- Strong self starter who is trustworthy and reliable
- Must be willing and able to work all 24 Cane Cutter home games for the 2025 season as well as a maximum of 3 playoff games
- Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule that includes nights and weekends
