Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Care Pros. In this role, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities, seniors, and those in need of long-term care. Your primary focus will be on enhancing the quality of life for our clients through personalized care and support in various settings, including personal care homes, retirement homes, and home care environments.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration.
- Monitor and record vital signs as needed to ensure clients' health and safety.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Support clients in social activities and community engagement to promote social interaction.
- Document client progress and any changes in condition accurately in accordance with company policies.
Skills
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with healthcare systems and protocols related to senior care and long-term care settings.
- Knowledge of vital signs monitoring techniques is preferred.
- Background in social work or related fields is a plus.
- Experience in personal care homes or retirement homes is beneficial.
- Proficient in medication administration practices to ensure client safety.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
