Acara Solutions has an exciting part-time remote contract opportunity for a Copywriter to join our client's dynamic team. This role offers flexible hours (15-25 total hours per week depending on workload). Pay range is $40-55/hr, DOE.
As a copywriter on the marketing/creative team, you'll produce the written content for web pages, social media posts, brand campaigns, emails, and other forms of digital content. Your skills range from the ability to write persuasive headlines that sell to harder working body copy that educates. Ultimately, your job will be to engage and motivate our consumers through concepts and strategies that are insightful, relevant, innovative, and effective. You'll also work cross-functionally with internal partners, department heads, and external agencies/vendors to ensure all content exemplifies the company voice.
Job Responsibilities
- Write sharp, on-brand copy for a variety of channels, including but not limited to: web, brand campaigns, events, organic and paid social, and email.
- Help to shape, define, and document the brand voice with the ultimate goal of getting every company writing just as well - and on brand! - as you do.
- Edit copy and drive messaging, considering how copy, imagery, and product come together to tell the strongest story and inspire our customers, all while being tightly aligned with brand priorities.
- Manage complex projects with a dynamic roster of cross-functional partners and on competing deadlines.
- Collaborate with talented designers and agency partners to create compelling content that pushes the company brand.
- Confidently present creative concepts to peers and leadership across the marketing organization (and beyond).
- Help promote a culture of innovation, teamwork, and curiosity to ensure we have a happy, inventive, and open environment.
- Assist with the business projects, such as:
○ Emails
○ Short-form presentations / deck copy
○ One pagers
○ Paid Ads
○ International
○ Non-marketing
○ Partner marketing
○ Mostly short form copy tasks
○ Copy editing (taking copy from marketers) and putting it in our brand voice
○ Packaging copy (value props that live on our packaging)
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Mass Communication/Advertising, or related field.
- 2 years of experience in writing, copywriting, or marketing; experience writing in brand voice is a must.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Passion for food and the restaurant world. Restaurant experience is always appreciated - these are the customers you'll be writing to, after all.
- Excellent command of language and grammar. Experience with AP style is a plus!
- Extremely detailed oriented and organized; excellent written and verbal communication skills; and strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Salary : $40 - $55
