Acara Solutions has been providing aerospace and other advanced manufacturing firms nationally with our staffing services since the 1950's. Our Bothell, WA aerospace client is looking for 2 skilled Power BI Developers for contract positions. One is expected to last at least 4 months and that position is full time onsite. The other position is between 2-4 months and it also requires a local person in a hybrid schedule (3 days a week onsite).
Local candidates only. The contractors are required to be onsite in the Seattle region. The hourly pay rate range is $50-$55.
Power BI Reports Developer will be responsible for designing and developing interactive and insightful Power BI reports and dashboards that drive data-driven decision-making across the Tactical and Strategic Supply Chain organizations. Power BI Reports Developer will work closely with various stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and translate complex data into meaningful visualizations.
- Develop, test, and deploy Power BI reports and dashboards that meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document reporting requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Transform raw data into actionable insights through effective visualization techniques.
- Optimize Power BI data models and report performance for efficient data retrieval and analysis.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy by implementing appropriate data validation and testing processes.
- Knowledge Transfer to business analysts on Power BI tools and best practices.
- Any other tasks assigned by supervisor or management.
Required Skills / Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree, ideally in CS, Information Systems or Data Analytics
Min 5 years of BI experience including:
- Proven experience in developing Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Strong understanding of data visualization principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with data modeling and ETL processes.
- Familiarity with DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for complex calculations in Power BI.
- Experience with data sources such as SQL Server, Excel, or other databases.
This is an aerospace ITAR plant, U.S. Persons Required (Green Card ok)
Salary : $50 - $55
