Pay Rate: $24-$34/hr DOE
The Quality Assurance Specialist meticulously inspects and analyzes shipping components to guarantee the delivery of high-quality products in adherence to specified quality standards within a manufacturing environment. Position involves the implementation and oversight of quality management systems, processes, and standards to meet regulatory requirements. The Quality Assurance Specialist collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify and address areas for improvement, contributing to the overall enhancement of product quality and operational efficiency.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Develop, Supervise, and review shipping inspection standards and specifications.
- Address abnormalities at shipment sites to ensure quality and quantity standards are met.
- Accompany customers during inspections, summarize results, and provide feedback while tracking and verifying inspection issues.
- Create and administer training programs for shipment inspectors, fostering skill enhancement and comprehensive development.
- Assist production and warehouse teams in improving shipment quality and verify the effectiveness of improvement measures.
- Arrange sampling and identification of inventory products, report scrap products, and maintain shipment reports and data.
- Take responsibility for shipping safety management, including hazard identification, spot checks, and adherence to safety regulations.
- Assist in developing and implementing customer satisfaction survey plans, analyzing results, and implementing continuous improvement measures.
- Review and revise documents quarterly, update product coding information and address issues found during internal and external audits.
