What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Receivable Specialist position at Acara Solutions?
Acara solutions is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to work with our partner located in Newark, CA who specializes in Electronics manufacturing.
Pay Rate: $30-$35/hr
Summary: Under the direction of the Controller, the Accounts Receivable position is responsible for a variety of clerical, accounting, and record keeping tasks in the Accounts Receivable function. The candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills, as well as a strong process improvement focus and attention to detail. This individual will also assist with sales tax submissions, cash management, cash forecast and day to day invoice processing and cash collection
Here is what you will do:
Responsibilities:
- Accounts Receivable includes invoicing and cash receipt application
- Support Cash Collections calls with customers
- Prepare month-end journal entries, balance sheet reconciliation, and prepare supporting schedules/reports.
- Cash Receivable forecast
- Support SOX control compliance
- Support Month-end close process
- Sales tax filing multiple states
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in accounting or finance
- Minimum 3 years of Accounts Receivable experience
- Strong Excel Skills
- Experience with Oracle ERP system
