Job Summary:
Responsibilities include the development of reports, dashboards, and other data driven solutions. The candidate will be part of a BI team, working with a variety of data sources across multiple companies and stakeholders to produce data solutions to meet various business needs. The individual must be able to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical users.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assemble and summarize data to structure sophisticated reports on client activity and performance.
- Work directly with stakeholders to capture and document report, dashboard, and analysis requirements.
- Develop BI reports, dashboards, and other data driven solutions to meet client needs.
- Use of standard or ad hoc queries to extract data from disparate databases and data sources.
- Analyze data to produce dashboards, metrics, or insights and identify trends or anomalies.
- As assigned, provide creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve system performance using tools and data provided.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand business needs.
- Design, develop, and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports.
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify new requirements and enhancement needs, as well as pain point, root causes, and opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications and Skills:
Required:
- 3-5 years' experience in Business Intelligence, reporting, or related field
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience in lieu of a degree
- Expertise in Microsoft PowerBI
- Proficiency in SQL
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience performing data analytics for use in business decision-making
- Strong attention to detail and outstanding communication and organizational skills
Preferred:
- Advanced SQL experience (Database administration)
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Power BI, Power Query, Excel
- Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Analysis Services, or other ETL processes
- Experience with SAP Datasphere/SAP Analytics Cloud/SAP S/4 Hana Reporting
- Works well in a team or independently and within tight deadlines
- Prior staffing/recruiting experience a plus!
Work Environment:
- Hybrid work environment 3 days in office, 2 days work from home.
