Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Other duties may be assigned : -The Plastic Fabricator is responsible for precise Plastic Fabrication of custom parts and / or components using customer and / or engineering supplied drawings and other work instruction for specific parts.
- Must be able to meet or exceed the requirement of the project through manual fabrication.-Collaborate with machinists throughout the manufacturing process for each phase of the project.
- Must be willing to use hot air welding gun and Plastic Fabrication tools and procedures to connect plastic components.-Must be able to position clamps and / or fixtures onto components for fabrication.
- Ability to understand and execute the proper order of operations.-Must pay close attention to details on drawings. -Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables.
- Ability to interpret various instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.-Must have expertise in measuring components with height gauges and calipers.
Here's what you will receive : Pay : $23 - $27 / hr DOE shift differentialDuration : Temporary, 12 months Schedule : 2nd shift 4pm-2 : 30am, Monday - ThursdayRequired Skills / Qualifications : -Minimum 1 year experience in welding or fabrication.
- Eye for detail and manual dexterity-Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment-Strong verbal and written communication skills-Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must have basic math skills-Must be able to use calipers and protractor tools-Must be willing to use a hot air welding gunAdditional Information : -Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check.
