Financial Planning Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team at Acara Solutions. As a key member of our senior management, the CFO will be responsible for leading our accounting and finance functions, driving financial growth strategies, and ensuring financial stability and compliance within the commercial and residential real estate sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, with significant experience in real estate development and finance. They will develop and execute the company's financial planning, oversee financial management, direct internal and external stakeholders in financial statement preparation, drive long-term financial sustainability and growth, assess and manage liabilities and investments, mitigate financial risks, analyse financial data and market trends, contribute to strategic direction and decision-making, monitor and manage cash flow, liquidity, and financial risks, and ensure compliance with legal requirements, company policies, financial regulations, accounting standards, tax requirements, and internal controls. Key qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, or related field, Certified Public Accountant designation, 7 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles, experience in financial planning and analysis, knowledge of real estate transactions, proficiency in financial software and tools, familiarity with risk management tools and practices, experience in leading and mentoring finance teams, experience ensuring adherence to accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements, demonstrated expertise in capital markets, familiarity with emerging trends and technologies in real estate finance, and proven track record of strategic financial management, financial analysis, and risk management in the real estate industry.
