Duration : TemporaryContract : 1 yearSalary : $21.73-36.92 p / hr. : Mon-Thurs 6 am-4 : 30 pm Key Responsibilities : Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities : Remove shipped materials from delivery vehicles to designated storage destinationReceives incoming components from outside vendors and stores parts in proper bin locationsExamine receiving documents for storage , storage, or distribution of materialsOperate materials handling equipment to move large volumes of materialsParticipates in monthly inventory cycle countsUse computer systems to locate materialsWork independently with normal to moderate supervisionMaintains accurate computerized records to assure accurate inventories of raw stock and purchased componentsKeeps Kitting Lead informed on any needs for expedited componentsNotifies Kitting Lead of any needs for modifications in databaseMay assist in Material prep area as needed to assure desired results in a safe and timely mannerMaintains accurate computerized records to assure accurate inventories of raw stock and purchased componentKeeps Kitting Lead informed on any needs for expedited components. Notifies Kitting Lead of any needs for modifications in databaseMaintain logs of necessary documentsMay train less skilled technicians and operatorsQualifications : -Advanced skills in the procedures, techniques, tools and processes related to material handling. -Ability to read and comprehend shop travelers, written instructions and shop prints at the appropriate level.-Ability to perform the required computer operations in an accurate and efficient manner-Ability to correctly identify stock components for kitting-Ability to communicate verbally and in writing to leads, supervisors and managers-Working knowledge of standard precision measuring instruments -Basic Math skills to include the ability to calculating figures, fractions, decimals, and diameters-Solid customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written in English-Ability to recognize deviation from accepted practices-Knowledge of MRP, Oracle and Agile systems-Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend and lift up to 50 pounds Join us and be part of a team that values safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
