Here's what you'd do:
- As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for building, assembling, and wiring Medium—and Low-Voltage Electrical Distribution Equipment, such as LV Motor Control Centers, MV breakers, MV switchgear and Motor Control Centers, DC Electrical Vehicle Chargers, and Solar Inverters.
- Assembly and wire LV MCC breakers, structures, sub-assemblies, parts kits, and aftermarket parts orders.
- Perform Sub-assembly work, including mechanical assembly of steel and components, control wiring, power cable work, and interconnection of control wires.
- Record appropriate job record transactions.
- Read BOM, follow layouts & assembly drawings.
- Perform some basic wiring per given instructions when requested.
- Set and correct use of Torque wrenches.
- Adhere to developed processes and methods or seek ways to improve.
- Adhere to all safety rules and keep safety first for self and others.
- Perform miscellaneous other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Management.

Pay: $20/hr.
Hours: 40 hours/week (2nd Shift).
Length: Temp (11 Months).

- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Quality and Productivity.
- Minimum of 1 year experience performing mechanical assembly or experience in the mechanical field.
- Forklift driver experience.
- SAP experience.
- Experience working with standard hand and power tools, both pneumatic and battery-operated.
- Experience with using a tape measure and other measuring devices.
- Able to Identify mechanical parts and electrical components.
- Knowledge of torque wrench and applied torque values.
- Able to communicate in English (read, write & speak fluently).
- A good team player.
- Conform with Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety policy and Management System and strive to improve the intended outcomes of the Management System continually.
