Quality Assurance Manager (Food)

Acara Solutions is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager for our client, a food manufacturing company located in Buffalo NY! ❗ Qualified candidate must have applicable quality experience in food manufacturing ❗

• Salary up to $100k / year
• 100% onsite Responsibilities-Serve as the point of contact for audits and inspections, ensuring timely response to new or changes in regulations on specifications, procedures, quality, and implications.-Collaborate with production and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of food safety measures into daily operations.-Train and educate employees on food safety protocols and best practices to foster a culture of safety and quality.-Lead investigations into quality issues across production (allergen risk management, equipment risk management, material or packaging nonconformance).-Facilitate and / or direct resolution to issues as it relates to food safety and quality.-Oversee product testing and release process, implement a proactive problem-solving approach to any potential out of spec situations.Required Skills / Qualifications : -Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Microbiology preferred, or equivalent experience.-Minimum 2 years of experience in food safety or quality assurance within a food manufacturing environment.Preferred Skills / Qualifications : People management experience highly preferred Aleron companies (Acara Solutions, Aleron Shared Resources, Broadleaf Results, Lume Strategies, TalentRise, Viaduct) are Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employers.
