The pay range is from $48-60 an hour. Interested?Here's what you'd do :
- Collaborate with the Design and Construction Teams to engage in design-buildefforts to balance cost and quality.
- Design and analyze building systems, including structural, mechanical, electrical, andplumbing and conduct feasibility studies to integrate technical requirements intodesigns.
- Optimize building energy efficiency while balancing cost and ensuring compliance wibuilding codes and safety regulations.
- Oversee project management for assigned scopes, maintaining accurate progressreports relative to timelines.
- Review shop drawings and provide feedback to NFOS construction teams.
- Participate in ground-up development projects, coordinating site and building designcomponents.
- Support North Forest's ongoing efforts to manage the balance between cost and qualityof design and materials.
- Perform field visits to better understand project elements and obtain feedback frconstruction teams.
- Address technical challenges during construction and recommend solutions.
- Stay current on industry trends, building codes, and sustainability practicesRequired Skills / Qualifications :
- 5 years of structural and architectural design engineering experience.
- Has a comprehensive understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systemsand design requirements.
- Role will require some travel. Likely limited to 1-3 times per year.
- Degree in Architectural Engineering or a related fiel
- Maintains an active Professional Engineers license in Texas
- Experience with design software, AutoCAD
- Project management experience.
- Working knowledge of compliance with zoning and building code legislationPreferred Skills / Qualifications :
