Interested?Here's what you'd do : -The client is looking for someone with a background in inspection in a manufacturing / machining area. -Plan and perform complex first-piece and AS9102-compliant first-article inspections to determine manufacturing process effectiveness and operator or technician competency.-To assess process risk due to variations in set-up, tools used, ambiguous instructions, measuring equipment limitations, human factors, and sub-optimum manufacturing methods.-Inspect parts using inspection techniques and layouts of varying complexity.-Aid in manufacturing and production management to meet artistry standards.-Assist all engineering disciplines in supporting process improvement and investigative inspection activities.-Help train operators and inspectors on best practices, procedures, and techniques.-Assist in problem-solving activities to provide evaluation support for identified nonconformities.
